Author Guidelines

The Hensard Journal of Health Governance and Digital Transformation (HJHGDT) publishes high-quality interdisciplinary research addressing health governance, public policy, and digital transformation.

Manuscripts should be original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere. Submissions may include research articles, review articles, policy analyses, case studies, and editorials. Template 

Authors are required to prepare manuscripts in clear English and follow the journal’s formatting and referencing requirements. All submissions must include an abstract, keywords, and complete author affiliations.

The journal operates a double-blind peer review process. Authors should ensure that identifying information is removed from the manuscript file.

Submission to HJHGDT implies agreement with the journal’s peer review, publication ethics, and open access policies.

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • This submission meets the requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • This submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
  • All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness.
  • All tables and figures have been numbered and labeled.
  • Permission has been obtained to publish all photos, datasets and other material provided with this submission.

This section publishes systematic reviews, scoping reviews, and critical literature reviews that synthesize existing evidence on health governance, digital health, policy frameworks, and institutional transformation.

Policy Analysis and Commentary

This section features policy analyses, commentaries, and perspectives that examine contemporary health governance challenges, regulatory frameworks, and digital transformation policies at national and global levels.

Case Studies and Practice

This section publishes practice-based case studies and implementation reports highlighting real-world applications of governance reforms, digital health interventions, and institutional innovations in health systems.

Special Issues

This section hosts special issues and thematic collections edited by guest editors, focusing on emerging topics and priority areas in health governance and digital transformation.

Editorials

This section includes editorials, introductory notes, and editorial statements published by the Editor-in-Chief or guest editors.
