About the Journal

Hensard Journal of the Environment (HJE) is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by Hensard University, Nigeria. The journal provides a platform for the dissemination of high-quality, interdisciplinary research addressing critical environmental issues in Africa and globally. It aims to foster scholarly exchange in environmental science, policy, sustainability, and technology-driven solutions to ecological challenges.

HJE welcomes original research articles, reviews, short communications, case studies, and technical reports in the following areas:

Editorial and Review Policy

HJE follows a double-blind peer-review process. Submissions are initially screened by editors and then reviewed by at least two independent experts in the field. Authors will receive decisions within 4–6 weeks of submission.
