The Hensard Journal of Policy, Economics and Development (HJPED) is a peer-reviewed, open-access scholarly journal published by Hensard University, Nigeria. The journal provides a multidisciplinary platform for high-quality research and policy-oriented studies addressing issues in public policy, economics, governance, and sustainable development.
HJPED focuses on development challenges and policy responses relevant to Nigeria, the ECOWAS region, Africa, the Global South, and the international community. The journal aims to bridge academic research and practical policymaking by promoting evidence-based insights that support inclusive growth, institutional development, and sustainable socio-economic transformation.

Volume 1, Issue 2 (2026) of the Hensard Journal of Policy, Economics and Development presents scholarly research addressing contemporary issues in public policy, economics, governance, development studies, public administration, finance, entrepreneurship, and sustainable socioeconomic development.
The issue brings together original research articles and scholarly contributions examining policy formulation and implementation, economic transformation, institutional development, governance, regional and national development challenges, business and entrepreneurship, public-sector management, and emerging approaches to inclusive and sustainable development.
Through interdisciplinary and evidence-based scholarship, the journal seeks to strengthen the connection between academic research, policy development, and practical solutions to socioeconomic challenges, particularly within Nigeria, Africa, and other developing regions.
